Yes, I know it's April already and this is a bit late but WELCOME TO 2017!!!
Before Christmas we spent a few days relaxing on Magnetic Island. It's only a 20 minute ferry ride from Townsville and it's a popular place for day trippers and holiday makers alike. We took our car across on the ferry because we would be there for several days, but lots of visitors catch the passenger ferry and hire a small car on the island.
Our few days were spent exploring the island and relaxing at the beach.
Our timeshare group has a resort on Magnetic Island and we were lucky enough to get a booking that fitted in with our busy schedule at fairly short notice.
